Landscape Stewardship Collective is Officially a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit
We are excited to share that Landscape Stewardship Collective (LSC) has been recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) public charity.
This milestone affirms our mission to support land managers, seed growers, restoration practitioners, and researchers by producing accessible, science-based guidance for native plant restoration and long-term landscape stewardship. Achieving federal tax-exempt status strengthens our ability to partner with Tribes, agencies, universities, and communities, and allows us to pursue funding that directly supports applied research and on-the-ground impact.
With this designation, contributions to LSC are now tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law, and we can accept charitable donations, grants, and contracts as an independent nonprofit organization.
We are grateful to our board, collaborators, and early supporters who helped bring LSC to this point. As we move forward, we are focused on expanding our research, translating results into practical tools, and delivering data-driven solutions that help restore resilient ecosystems across the United States.
Thank you for being part of this journey. We look forward to what comes next.
